Solia Direct

About Solia Direct

The operating layer around your laboratory.

Solia Direct is an operating and connectivity layer for diagnostic laboratories. Connect the laboratory once and reuse that infrastructure across multiple Programs and partners through one Control Plane and Partner API—without replacing the LIS/LIMS.

Why Solia exists

Consumer diagnostics moves fast. Laboratory infrastructure was built for a different era.

Health and wellness platforms, employers, virtual clinics, specialty-care programs and consumer brands increasingly want diagnostics embedded in what they offer. Laboratories already have the testing capability, but each new commercial program can become another custom integration and configuration project. Solia removes that repeated friction without forcing the laboratory to replace its LIS/LIMS or core operational systems.

System + surfaces

Connect the laboratory once. Reuse the infrastructure everywhere.

System

Solia Core + Lab Adapter

Connects to the laboratory’s existing LIS/LIMS, files and interfaces, normalizes catalog, order and result concepts into Solia’s canonical diagnostics model, and preserves the laboratory’s existing systems rather than replacing them.

Surfaces

Lab Control Plane

The laboratory workspace for testing capabilities, Fulfillment, Programs, integrations, orders, results and Production readiness.

Partner Portal / Program Workspace

A separate health-company workspace for Program requirements, Bring My Lab or Find a Lab, controlled opportunities and approved introductions.

Partner API

A Program-scoped API surface for authorized partners to create orders and receive standardized status and results after an approved lab-backed Program grant.

Consumer Experience

A lab-owned or white-labeled consumer experience using the same underlying laboratory infrastructure.

Sandbox + Production

Separate persistent environments for synthetic configuration and testing, followed by fail-closed Production readiness and activation.

Commercial models

Two acquisition paths. One canonical Diagnostic Program.

Lab-first

A laboratory connects, configures Diagnostic Programs, and invites or supports authorized partners on the same reusable foundation.

Health-company-first

A health company defines Program requirements, brings or finds a laboratory, and moves through a controlled introduction to one lab-backed Diagnostic Program.

Program #2 should be faster because the laboratory connection is already in place.

Control + leverage

Keep the laboratory at the center.

  • Keep existing LIS/LIMS and core laboratory operations in place.
  • Maintain the direct commercial relationship with the organizations you serve.
  • Control program catalog, pricing, availability and operating rules.
  • Use the same infrastructure across multiple programs instead of rebuilding it each time.

Platform capabilities

The operating capabilities around the laboratory.

Programs & Catalog

Configure laboratory tests, program-specific catalogs, rules and pricing.

Scheduling & collection

Coordinate available collection methods and scheduling workflows.

Partner API

Give authorized programs scoped access to serviceability, orders, status and results.

Results & longitudinal experience

Present released results and biomarker history across testing events.

Orders & Fulfillment

Coordinate orders, status changes and result delivery across systems.

Laboratory Connectivity

Connect existing systems through validated mappings and interfaces.

Control Plane

Manage Programs, operations, integrations and launch readiness in one place.

Sandbox

See the program before you commit to production.

Labs can configure a real Program in an isolated Sandbox, preview the experience, and run synthetic order and result workflows before Production.

Production still requires commercial and technical readiness, with connectivity and validation as required by the laboratory environment.
